Taco Bell supports Boys & Girls Clubs of America through an in-store canister collection program called TEENSupreme. Tacala has been the largest franchise contributor to the TeenSupreme effort contributing more than $1.1 million since its inception in 1996.

In concert with Taco Bell Corp.’s national program, Tacala established our own charitable foundation, Team Tacala Charities. Our primary partners in this endeavor are our local Boys and Girls Clubs in the communities where we do business.
The primary fundraising activity for Team Tacala Charities is a program called “Round Up” which is generally conducted three times per year. Round Up is a two week program where Service Champions in each Tacala restaurant ask customers to donate their change to support teen programs. Funds collected through Round Up are made available to Boys & Girls Clubs in Tacala markets through grants for teen programs and services, as well as other club requests including facility and equipment upgrades. Since beginning its fundraising efforts in 2002, Team Tacala Charities has distributed over $700,000 to local clubs.
At Tacala, our dedication to Boys and Girls Club is not just about the financial support, but also about involvement. In addition to the funds we raise, we also encourage Tacala personnel to volunteer their time and talents. It's not uncommon to see a group of Tacala personnel touring clubs and meeting with club personnel, or you might find a group of Tacala RGMs giving up their off day to help with some needed repair and cleaning at a local club. Tacala personnel also attend new club openings or special events associated with the Clubs. Tacala personnel are actively encouraged to form relationships with clubs in their area so they can experience firsthand the awesome work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
