Our fan favorite Mexican Pizza is officially back on the menu! It’s permanent this time! We promise!
Taco Bell first launched the Mexican Pizza in 1985, but it was discontinued in 2020 to streamline our operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our customers disagreed with this decision and were very vocal about missing their beloved Mexican Pizza. Our customers and fans, including Katy Perry, Dolly Parton, and Doja Cat, have spoken, and it’s clear our Mexican Pizza is their #1 favorite.
The customer is always right, so we brought back the Mexican Pizza on May 19th. Word spread like wildfire, and our customers raced to their local Taco Bells all across the country. The support was unbelievable, and our customers’ love consumed all of the Mexican Pizzas. We were temporarily sold out, but it’s back and here to stay!
We permanently brought back the Mexican Pizza on September 15, 2022, and our Tacala Teams served 322,754 Mexican Pizzas in the first 6 days of its’ re-relaunch! It’s been the best comeback in the history of comebacks!
