Talk of Tacala

Thankful at Thanksgiving

Tacala has so much to be thankful for and there is no better time to reflect on this than during Thanksgiving! With over 350 locations across seven states, the list of what we are thankful for grows every day, and as we continue to grow, so does our ability to give back and impact our employees, customers and community. This year and every year Tacala is thankful for our dedicated and passionate field and office teams serving our loyal customers, our customers supporting our business, and our communities for putting their trust in us to partner and give-back to local teen serving organizations.

Tacala would not be where we are today without the dedication and commitment of our field teams. Each and every employee plays a crucial role in Tacala’s success. Our Restaurant Leaders are always striving to create the best experience for the customer, while coaching and leading our next generation of leaders within the company. One way we accomplish this is by celebrating the small and big accomplishments within the restaurant. From celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and promotions, to celebrating a graduation or GED, Tacala is always looking for a way to motivate their teams and celebrate their wins.

Our field teams act like a family by celebrating life achievements and looking out for each other. This was demonstrated at our Millbrook Taco Bell earlier this year. Hardworking Service Champion, Xzydia, rides her bike two miles to work every day. Area Coach, Daphnee Morgan saw the poor conditions of Xzydia’s bike and wanted to get her a new and safer bike to ride. Daphnee and her restaurant team took Xzydia to go pick out a new bike so she can ride to work safely. This is just one example of how our field teams are always ready to go above and beyond for their team members.

We certainly would not be as successful in business if it were not also for our guests who come and eat with us every day. We know there are many places to choose from and appreciate everyone who chooses to dine with us. We love hearing about favorite menu items and favorite Taco Bell memories and helping create new ones. This was brought to life in Morristown, TN where the teams helped celebrate Halloween with customers by safely hosting a trunk-or-treat event in our parking lot. Being able to connect with our guest and make a difference in their lives makes all the hard work worth it and sets Tacala/Taco Bell apart from other local quick service options.

Lastly, we are thankful for the opportunity to be an active member of the communities where we do business. Our teams are committed to giving back through partnerships with local teen serving organizations. At Tacala, we know the importance of investing in our future leaders so we build strong relationships with teen serving organizations through programming dollars, volunteering, or hands on support – we’re here for it!

So, a big thank you from the Tacala team. We wish you a happy Thanksgiving and encourage you to take some time this season to reflect on what you are thankful for.
